Abstract
⺠We propose a scheme of a generator of radio waves in the terahertz range. ⺠This scheme includes a corrugated dielectric plate, which can act as an open waveguide. ⺠A strip electron beam is in vacuum near the dielectric corrugated surface. ⺠Generation is achieved by converting electronsʼ energy into electromagnetic energy. ⺠The waveguide wave extends perpendicularly to electron motion.
