Abstract
RT RCTs involving â¥1 surgical arms are at a very high risk of failure, with 75% failing to be completed. In contrast, behavioral studies are associated with study completion, with 94% of studies being successful. Future RT trials involving surgical interventions should consider novel methods to reduce the risk of trial failure.
