Abstract
A new Mixed Mode Crack Growth (2MCG) specimen providing stable crack growth propagation in wooden material is presented. The numerical design is the result, on the one hand, of a judicious combination between stable DCB (Double Cantilever Beam) and CTS (Compact Tension Shear) specimens, and on the other hand, of the observation of the elastic energy release rate stability range computed according to M integral.
