Abstract
The generalized Maxwell method is developed for the calculation of effective parameters of poroelastic composite materials. The method is compared with other similar self-consistent method existed in the literature. Examples of the application of the method to the calculation of the effective poroelastic parameters of heterogeneous rock materials are presented.
