Abstract
Stagnation flow towards an off-centered rotating disc is studied. A three dimensional similarity transform reduces the Navier–Stokes equations to a set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations which are integrated numerically. It is found that the non-alignment complicates the flow field and surface shear, but does not affect the torque. Similarity equations for convective heat transfer with dissipation are also obtained.
