Abstract
⺠VMATâ2 take up aminochrome. ⺠Aminochrome uptake mediated by VMATâ2 is inhibited by lobeline but not reserpine. ⺠VMATâ2 and DTâdiaphorase overexpression prevents aminochrome neurotoxicity. ⺠VMATâ2 and DTâdiaphorase overexpression prevents increase of autophagosome. ⺠VMATâ2 and DTâdiaphorase overexpression prevents mitochondria remodeling.
