Abstract
⺠This review focuses on mtDNA and mitochondrial dynamics as target and mediator of oxidative stress. ⺠Alterations in mtDNA and mitochondrial dynamics in Alzheimer disease are discussed. ⺠Alterations in mtDNA and mitochondrial dynamics in Parkinson disease are also discussed.
