Abstract
⺠Advanced oxidation protein products induce cardiomyocyte death. ⺠AOPPs induce Nox2/Rac1/ROS-dependent TRAF3IP2 expression. ⺠Superoxide and hydrogen peroxide induce TRAF3IP2 expression. ⺠AOPPs activate TRAF3IP2/JNK-dependent proapoptotic signaling. ⺠TRAF3IP2 may represent a potential therapeutic target.
