Abstract
⺠A quantitative proteomic approach for site-specific profiling of S-nitrosylation was optimized. ⺠Protein- and peptide-level enrichment protocols provided comparable specificity and coverage. ⺠Quantitative reactivity profiling identified 488 S-nitrosylation sites from mouse muscle. ⺠Sites sensitive to S-nitrosylation and pathways susceptible to modification were revealed.
