Abstract

- This was a large prospective cohort study with people with Parkinson's disease.
- A MDS-UPDRS Part II > 14 points was shown to independently predict recurrent falls.
- A MDS-UPDRS Part II > 14 may replace a UPDRS ADL > 12 in two falls predictive tools.
- Both a 3- and 5-predictor tool were highly accurate for predicting recurrent falls.
