Abstract
⺠Multifunctional iron chelator M30 displayed neuroprotective effects in aged mice. ⺠Reduced cerebral iron accumulation. ⺠Markedly decreased cerebral β-amyloid plaques. ⺠Caused a significant inhibition of both MAO-A and -B activities in the cerebellum. ⺠Attenuated cognitive age-related impairment.
