Abstract
⺠Materials selection for a pressure vessel with four geometrical variables is analysed. ⺠Environmental impact is taken into account with Eco-indicator 99. ⺠The optimisation is solved both with control area diagrams and trade-off. ⺠Multi variables merit exponents are used to rank the materials.
