Abstract
The aim of the present work is to perform preliminary investigations on samples from the La–Sr–Ti–O system. The following compositions: La1−xSrxTiO3 (x = 0.5; 0.6; 0.7; 0.8) have been the focus of a study as materials with a possible application as alternative anodes for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). It was established that all the compositions possess a well defined structure, appropriate for SOFCs anode application. From the conductivity data and impedance measurements, it was found that the material La0.5Sr0.5TiO3 demonstrates good ionic conductivity and could be used as a basic phase for producing composite anodes for SOFCs.
