Abstract
We observed sudden increase in the concentration of UCHL1 2-16Â h after thermal injury with the slow decrease in the UCHL1 concentration over the time. UCHL1 concentration was proportional to the severity of the burn. Further studies are needed to determine the mechanisms by which UCHL1 contributes to metabolic response following thermal injury.
