Abstract
In this paper we extent the concept of domain of influence, proposed by Cowin and Nunziato, in order to cover the elasticity of microstretch materials.We will prove that for a finite time t>0t>0 the displacement field uiui, the microrotation field φiφi and the microstretch function ψψ generate no disturbance outside a bounded domain BB.
