Abstract
This paper considers a delayed human respiratory model. By choosing time delay as a parameter, the stability of the equilibrium of the model is investigated and the conditions which guarantee the existence of local and global Hopf bifurcation are derived. Finally, these results are illustrated by numerical simulations of a specific version of the system.
