Abstract

This paper provides sufficient conditions for the permanence of a class of delay differential equations. These results are applied to multi-species competition systems with delay and then sufficient conditions are obtained for the permanence and global attractivity of positive equilibria for such systems. The results presented here improve and extend the corresponding results of other authors.
