Abstract
We consider a nonlinear elliptic equation driven by a nonhomogeneous differential operator. Our main result shows the existence of infinitely many nodal solutions in the case where we do not impose any restriction on the behavior of the reaction term ff at infinity. This result completes some recent papers. The studied differential operators incorporate as special cases the p-Laplacian, the (p, q)-differential operator and the generalized p-mean curvature differential operator. Our approach is based on variational methods combining suitable truncation and comparison techniques.
