Abstract
►An antiserum against the stonefish toxin was raised in a guinea pig. ►Lionfish contain a 75 kDa toxin cross-reacting with the stonefish toxin. ►The primary structures of the lionfish toxins were elucidated by cDNA cloning. ►The lionfish toxins are homologous with the stonefish toxins.
