Abstract
⺠Cytotoxic and antioxidant protein (NN-32) purified from Indian Naja naja venom. ⺠N-terminal sequence is LKCNKLVPLF and mass is 6.7 kDa. ⺠It was cytotoxic to EAC cells; reduced tumor volume and weight. ⺠NN-32 increased proapoptotic protein caspase 3 and 9 activity and Bax-Bcl2 ratio. ⺠NN-32 increased the antioxidant markers, serum IL-10, decreased murine KC level.
