Abstract
⺠Neuropilin-1 is a VEGF receptor that is involved in tumour growth and angiogenesis. ⺠Structural biology of neuropilins supports the discovery of new therapeutics. ⺠Neuropilin-1-specific small molecule antagonists of VEGF-A are under development. ⺠Short peptides targeting neuropilin-1 are being explored as a drug-delivery system.
