Abstract
⺠The alliance between the German Cancer Research Center and Bayer HealthCare is presented - an innovative partnership model between industry and academia. ⺠The model is based on complementary expertise, true collaboration and sharing of risks and rewards. ⺠Concrete measures based on the RESOLVE model used to promote the collaboration and generation of value for both partners are described. ⺠Key Success Factors and common learnings for academic-industrial alliances are extracted and presented.
