Abstract
- Developing a transporter assay ontology appears as a laborious but essential next step to supplement existing ontologies.
- That should be done in a co-ordinated way, with engagement from the community, and building upon already existing ontologies.
- Publishers and data providers have the responsibility to provide data in standardized format to alleviate its reuse and integration.
- Metadata on the combinability of assay data will serve as an important resource to generate cleaner, bigger datasets.
- We propose to provide these data in the form of nanopublications.
