Abstract
This research shows that flexible implants can be designed from PLA and PLGA polymers using a reversed phase separation/coacervation process. The resulting implants show significantly lower glass transition values, have a flexible characteristics, and can sustain the release of ciprofloxacin HCl for several days in vitro.
