Abstract
► A low cost, commercial biosensor system was evaluated for detection of antibodies. ► Detection of antibodies to bovine herpes virus 1 was used as a test system. ► Bovine serum and milk samples were tested in parallel by ELISA and biosensor assay. ► The biosensor assay produced equivalent results to ELISA within 15 min.
