Abstract
⺠We introduced spacer amino acids in the latex surface and produced latex reagents. ⺠We investigated the relationship between the amino acid and the binding of an antibody. ⺠The reactivity depends on the inorganicity and organicity of the amino acid side chain. ⺠An inorganicity-to-organicity ratio of approximately 2 is useful for an amino acid spacer.
