Abstract
⺠Immature DCs are used to investigate the immunomodulatory properties of probiotics. ⺠We standardized a method to efficiently generate iDCs. ⺠Cryopreservation would simplify and standardize functional studies on DCs. ⺠Cryopreservation affects dendritic cell cytokine responses depending on stimulus. ⺠Cryopreserved cells produce up to 250 fold less IL-12 in response to bacteria.
