Abstract
⺠In-depth comparison of lentiviral transduction phenomena between primary neutrophils and Jurkat T cells. ⺠Lentiviral infection of mature neutrophils results in protein overexpression due to pseudotransduction. ⺠Protein transfer and not gene transfer is responsible for neutrophil pseudotransduction at early time-points of infection. ⺠Protein pseudotransduced into mature neutrophils is non-functional. ⺠Lentiviral transduction cannot be used to manipulate mature neutrophils.
