Abstract
A (2+1)-dimensional breaking soliton equation with self-consistent sources ((2+1)DBSESCS) is derived. The bilinear form of it is obtained and the NN-soliton solutions are worked out by means of the Hirota method and Wronskian technique, respectively. By making use of the Laplace expansion formula, a simple method is presented to treat the nonlinear term in the bilinear equation and finish the Wronskian verification. The dynamics and source effects are investigated.
