Abstract
⺠Targeted bisulfite sequencing is emerging as a powerful approach for genome-wide DNA methylation analysis. ⺠A variety of sequence capture methods have been developed for targeted bisulfite sequencing. ⺠Software programs are available for high-throughput primers/probes design and downstream bioinformatics analysis. ⺠Application of targeted bisulfite sequencing approaches can reduce costs and improve the sensitivity and accuracy of methylation detection.
