Abstract
In this paper we consider a singular diffusion equation arising in phase transition and investigate its self-similar entropy solutions with jump hypersurfaces. The existence, nonexistence and uniqueness theorems of such solutions are established. We also discuss some properties of this kind of solutions including monotonicity and asymptotic behavior.
