Abstract
The study suggests that in countries with colonoscopy facilities compatible with a screening test positivity rate of up to 5%, use of a 1-day test with a cut-off value between 100 and 150Â ng/mL could be the recommended strategy. Further increasing the cut-off value up to the same positivity rate as Hemoccult could be used in areas with limited access to colonoscopy.
