Abstract
Rosiglitazone exerted a protective effect on normal tissues in radiation-induced pulmonary injury, while irradiated lung cancer cells were not protected in vivo and in vitro. Thus, rosiglitazone could be proposed as a radioprotective agent in the treatment of lung cancer.
