Abstract
⺠In vitro study on amorphous silica nanoparticles (aSiO2NPs) effects using Balb/3T3 cell model. ⺠No cytotoxicity by MTT and colony forming efficiency assay was observed. ⺠No genotoxicity by Micronucleus and no carcinogenic potential by Cell Transformation Assay were observed. ⺠Intracellular distribution studied by fluorescence microscopy showed NPs in the cytoplasmic region. ⺠aSiO2NPs might be a useful component in industrial applications.
