Abstract
Stereo vision is an effective way to achieve the non-touch measurement in industrial field. The reconstruction errors generated in the calibration process are analyzed in 25 cases. The error distributions of the selected six line segments are performed on the configuration of 1400 mm baseline distance and 1500 mm, 2000 mm, 2500 mm and 3000 mm measurement distances, respectively. The experimental results disclose the regularity that the errors outside the area of the three-dimensional calibration board are generally the same as ones inside the area supposing that the target is located between two cameras. Furthermore, the precision can be enhanced by a right angle between the baseline and the major measurement direction.
