Abstract
In order to compare the effect of polarization on linear sampling method, a comprehensive comparison is carried out. Several recoveries based on TE and TM polarization are done and different aspects of linear sampling including minimum number for needed Tx and Rx, optimum value for decision making threshold and resonance phenomena are considered. For each comparison aspect, differences and similarities are revealed. In some aspects two polarizations acts quite similar, while in other aspects they are different. Finally, based on comparison the best choice is introduced.
