Abstract
âºThe C. elegans P granule component GLH-1 binds to DCR-1 via pull-down analysis. âºDCR-1 localizes to the cytoplasm and at the nucleus of germ cells in the gonad. âºDCR-1 appears to be regulated by KGB-1, a Jun N-terminal kinase, for degradation. âºGLH-1 protein and mRNA levels are much reduced in the dcr-1(ok247) mutant. âºGLH-1 and DCR-1 both localize to RNP granules in stressed oocytes.
