Abstract
⺠A gene coding for an alkaline phosphatase (FmALP) was isolated from Funneliformis mosseae. ⺠FmALP was expressed in Pichia pastoris and functionally characterised. ⺠FmALP exhibited highest substrate specificity for glycerolphosphate. ⺠FmALP was highly expressed in intraradical hyphae and suppressed at high Pi supply.
