Abstract
⺠Multiple transcript variants of imprinted gene Meg3 expressed in cerebral cortex. ⺠Layer V neurons in the developing cortex express long isoforms of Meg3. ⺠Developing corticospinal neurons can be purified from Fezf2-EGFP transgenic mice. ⺠Meg3 is expressed in developing corticospinal neurons but not in neuron progenitors. ⺠Meg3 expression inversely correlates with the methylation of control region IG-DMR.
