Abstract
The aim of this study was to point out the existence of anti CCD specific IgE (by measurement of bromelain specific IgE) in a population of patients with both pollinosis and numerous sensitizations to food allergens. All these patients were sensitized to peanut. Three different tests were performed: measurement of specific IgE directed against bromelain, comparison of specific IgE directed against peanut before and after inhibition of the sera with bromelain, comparison of peanut blots before and after inhibition by bromelain. We showed in this study a high frequency of IgE directed against CCD in sixteen pollinics patients, polysensitized to food allergens and all considered as allergic to peanut. We studied the interference of IgE directed against CCD in the levels of specific peanut IgE response too.
