Abstract
In therapeutic monitoring, the measurement of the drugs is largely widespread in the laboratory of clinical biology. The objective of this work is to compare the analytical performances of three analyzers according to two standardized protocols NCCLS in order to evaluate the transferability of measurements of Abbott Axsym® automat towards a successor. The studied parameters are the antiépileptics (valproïc acid-carbamazépine-phénytoin), a cardiotonic (Digoxine) and finally an antibiotic (Vancomycine). The absolute precision will also be evaluated with Biorad LyphoCheck® and LiquiCheck® external controls. For the valproïc acid, the Centaur® automat seems to be the ideal successor in term of precision and exactitude. Carbamazepine, the results must be re-evalued because of a lack of patient sample, however the precision and absolute exactitude seem to be favorable to the LX-20®. Phénytoïn and Vancomycin are transposable towards the Centaur® automat. Only the Digoxine parameter remains ambiguous on the successor of Axsym®. The comparative study shows that there is not an automat-type, that why each parameter was directed towards the automat presenting the best results in term of precision, exactitude, and speed.
