Abstract
► Human native Ito from atrial myocytes exhibited steep temperature sensitivity. ► The influence of β-subunits on Kv4.3 channel kinetics was dependent on temperature. ► A Markov state model was developed by incorporating temperature dependency. ► The high temperature sensitivity of human Ito could be not mimicked in CHO cells. ► Kinetics of native Ito at 37 °C were reproducible with Kv4.3/KChIP2, KCNE2 and DPP6.
