Abstract
⺠C-Myc activation affects myocardial substrate utilization for the TCA cycle. ⺠Fatty acid oxidation increases with established compensated cardiac hypertrophy. ⺠Substrate oxidation is not altered prior to the development of hypertrophy. ⺠Myocardial O-GlcNAcylation was increased by c-Myc.
