Abstract
⺠Angiotensin-II induces cardiomyocyte hypertrophy in vitro via AT1 and WISP1. ⺠AT1 physically associates with NOX2. ⺠Angiotensin-II activates TCF/LEF via superoxide/Akt/GSK3β/β-catenin. ⺠Angiotensin-II activates CREB via Akt and superoxide-mediated p38MAPK and ERK1/2 activation. ⺠Angiotensin-II induced myocardial hypertrophy in vivo is associated with WISP1 upregulation.
