Abstract
Structural health monitoring (SHM) is an emerging plot of researches, yet due to this new technologies specially optical fibers sensors, we are able to monitor many variations in the civil structures. Measuring the shift wave, we can prove the influence of temperature in sensing fiber. In this paper, both Brillouin scattering and Raman scattering are used to monitor temperature along the fiber. By modeling Brillouin and Raman Spectrum will be able to deduce temperature variation with Matlab codes.
