Abstract
⺠LC-MS/MS measures several steroids in one experiment on a single small sample. ⺠Pre-analytical extraction prevents instrument contamination and ion suppression. ⺠The sensitivity of LC-MS/MS assays varies for different structural classes of steroids. ⺠Derivatization improves sensitivity, particularly for specific types of steroids.
