Abstract
⺠Nevirapine inhibits proliferation of human anaplastic thyroid carcinoma FRO cells. ⺠Nevirapine up-regulates the mRNA expression of sodium-iodide symporter and TSHR in FRO cells. ⺠Increase in sodium-iodide symporter mRNA expression has no obvious effect on iodine uptake. ⺠The therapeutic potential of nevirapine in treatment of ATC needs to be further evaluated in vivo.
