Abstract
⺠BRS-3 gene/protein expression is downregulated in OB and T2D muscle tissue/myocytes. ⺠BRS-3-AP as insulin enhanced BRS-3 and GLUT4 mRNA/protein level in N, OB, T2D cells. ⺠BRS-3-AP induced GLUT-4 translocation to plasma membrane in N, OB and T2D cells. ⺠BRS-3-AP stimulated glucose transport in N, OB, T2D cells. PI3K/MAPKs be implicated. ⺠OB and T2D cells are more sensitive to BRS-3-AP than N cell.
