Abstract
The aim of this work is fabrication a solar cell device from TiO2 nanostructures. Therefore, a conductive layer (Au) as a collector of current carrier is deposited on quartz substrate by vacuum thermal evaporation. Then, a suspension of 0.1 g TiO2 and 1 g ethanol has been made and dropped on substrate and so, a TiO2 thin film is formed on substrate. Then, TiO2 nanostructures are fabricated by chemical vapor transport and condensation method. An Al mask coated on the device by vacuum thermal evaporation. Solar cell properties of the device such as; I-V curve, maximum input power, Isc, Voc, FF, and η are measured. This cell is fabricated from junction of TiO2 semiconductor and Au metal thin layer which is well known as a Schottky junction and its photovoltaic effects and effective parameters are analyzed.
