Abstract
⺠ERα, ERβ and the newly identified GPER are present in neutrophil like HL-60 cells. ⺠GPER agonist G1 induces c-fos in an Erk dependent pathway whereas estradiol acts via both Erk and PI3 kinase pathways. ⺠Estrogen receptors are functionally active and are involved in key physiological functions in neutrophil like HL-60 cells.
